She is the proud mother of two adult children, Eduardo and Emilio. She enjoys being the grandmother of two precious grandchildren that bring immense joy to her life.
Amy is the Minister of Outreach at College Park United Methodist. In November of 2018, she joined CPUMC to work with the Hispanic ministries and then developed other outreach ministries for the church, including the Community Meals ministry, the wellness ministry, and an after school program, stART. The newest initiative at the church is Who Is My Neighbor?
She lives on just the other side of College Park in Greenbelt, and considers herself a dual citizen of both wonderfully diverse and interesting DC suburb towns.
Amy dreams of and works to build a church that is the hands and feet of Christ in the world.
